I´m in Switzerland!! My memory card is maxed out bc of all the photos. I´ve got Germany, Italy, Austria, and France coming up in the next two weeks and I´m so stoked for my creative juices to start flowing again.
It´s amazing here, I love it here, I´m having the time of my life...

So, some very exciting news!
I have been accepted to teach abroad at the world renowned school, the Institut auf dem Rosenburg in Switzerland!! Not only do I get to teach there, but I get to teach at this gorgeous boarding school for a MONTH! I feel so honored to be apart of the staff!!! After my teaching semester is up, I have plans to travel to Germany, Austria, France aaaaaaand, finally, ITALIA!!!! For anyone who knows me, you'll know that travelling to Venice, Italy has always been a dream of mine, and really, this opportunity is a dream, it feels like.
I'm so excited to be able to connect different languages, cultures, creativity, and most importantly, people, in one place. I have a lot of lesson planning to do and financial trip stuffage to take care of but I wanted to share this unbelievably fantastic news w/ everyone. Also, while I'm abroad, expect some bitchin' photos. I plan to do a photo blog of my trip but I will def update DA, too. In fact, to be able to take photos abroad is one of the experiences I'm looking forward to most.
But, as for now, I should be updating today with some concert photos of the rock/blues group, The Black Keys. I had the chance to catch them in concert at The Glass House in CA while I was visiting last week and they were nothing short of FUCKING INCREDIBLE. The passion that the music was played with had such ferocity and love; they literally lit up that city with their music..and then some. If you haven't seen them live or even heard their music, I highly suggest you do. I've been a fan of theirs since 2004 and they are one of the few bands that I still can't get enough of. Moved and Improved!

Hello, you amazing world!
I felt inspired to write a little blurb to update everyone [[the ones that care, anyway]] on what's going on. I recently moved w/ my darling
to a few states away from Cali for awhile. Gunna finish school & focus on myself and him, and our art. We just moved into our place about 2 weeks ago and so far, it has been nothing short of love.
I'm feeling truly happy, clear headed, free, and renewed. I owe him soooo much of that for being so supportive and loving...and god damn TALENTED! If you haven't you should def check him out. I also owe my friends majooorr
for being supportive as well and accepting that if it made me happy...they'd always support and be there. Check some of them out as well:

'Goonies Never Say Die'

As a beautiful lady once told me:
"I think some of us need a break from it [[art]] on occasion, but we always seem to find our way back when our muse forces it. You never know, it might just be a rough patch... it would be a shame just to say you're never going to point and click again."

In this case, my</i> muse,, forced me to really see things. I've been going through some really hard times as of late, lots of stress and tears and struggling. Apologies for the previous post, as much as I say my art is useless..we all know I'm full of BS. Corey has pushed and pushed and pushed till all ends, trying to get my stubborn self to pick my camera back up. He even threatened with his own hiatus if I didn't start updating. I've had friends [[]] get angry with me, as well, for me trying to abandon my craft.
Life, just sometimes takes it's toll.
Well, here's hoping things get better...somehow, they always do...and in the meantime, this artist will be doing her thing.
